Vanilla-Filled Chocolate Bars

  1. Let the cream cool for 10 minutes. Then whisk in the cream cheese (or mascarpone) until smooth and thick.

5️⃣ 🧊 Assemble & Chill

  1. Spread the vanilla cream evenly over the chilled chocolate base.
  2. Crumble and press the remaining dough over the top to cover.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2–3 hours (or freeze for 1 hour) until firm enough to slice.

6️⃣ 🔪 Slice into Bars

  1. Lift the chilled slab from the pan. Using a sharp knife, cut into 8 even bars. Clean the knife between slices for neat edges.

7️⃣ 🍫 Coat with Chocolate

  1. Melt the dark chocolate gently (microwave in 30-sec bursts or over a double boiler). Do not overheat.
  2. Dip each bar into the melted chocolate or spoon the chocolate over. Place on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate 10–15 minutes to set.

8️⃣ 🎨 Decorate

  1. Drizzle reserved melted chocolate over the bars using a piping bag or spoon.
  2. Serve with chocolate-covered balls or your favorite decorative toppings.
