- Let the cream cool for 10 minutes. Then whisk in the cream cheese (or mascarpone) until smooth and thick.
5️⃣ 🧊 Assemble & Chill
- Spread the vanilla cream evenly over the chilled chocolate base.
- Crumble and press the remaining dough over the top to cover.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2–3 hours (or freeze for 1 hour) until firm enough to slice.
6️⃣ 🔪 Slice into Bars
- Lift the chilled slab from the pan. Using a sharp knife, cut into 8 even bars. Clean the knife between slices for neat edges.
7️⃣ 🍫 Coat with Chocolate
- Melt the dark chocolate gently (microwave in 30-sec bursts or over a double boiler). Do not overheat.
- Dip each bar into the melted chocolate or spoon the chocolate over. Place on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate 10–15 minutes to set.
8️⃣ 🎨 Decorate
- Drizzle reserved melted chocolate over the bars using a piping bag or spoon.
- Serve with chocolate-covered balls or your favorite decorative toppings.
