🍓 Jelly Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cocoa (optional)
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup jelly (any flavor)
Instructions
- Warm the milk and mix with yeast. Let stand 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add sugar, egg, butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead until smooth; cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough, cut into rounds, and rest 10–15 minutes.
- Fry until golden, drain, and fill with jelly using a piping bag.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
