🥜 Buckeye Brownie
Brownie Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
Peanut Butter Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease an 8×8 pan.
- Melt butter, mix in sugar, eggs, vanilla, cocoa, flour, and salt. Bake 20–25 minutes. Cool.
- Mix peanut butter layer ingredients until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
- Optional: Add melted chocolate topping and chill before slicing.
