🍦 Vanilla Swiss Roll
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Filling:
- 3/4 cup heavy cream, whipped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 10×15-inch tray with parchment.
- Beat eggs and sugar 5–7 minutes until fluffy.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the egg mixture.
- Add oil and vanilla; mix gently.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until springy to the touch.
- Roll in parchment while warm, let cool.
- Unroll, spread whipped cream, re-roll, chill before slicing.
