Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix together 2 cups of flour, 7g of instant yeast, 1 tsp of sugar, and 1 tsp of salt. Add 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tbsp of vegetable oil. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). This will ensure that the pizza bakes evenly and gets a nice, golden crust.
- Roll Out the Dough: After the dough has risen, punch it down gently and roll it out into a circle shape. Place it onto a greased baking tray or pizza pan.
- Assemble the Pizza: Spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce or tomato sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add 100g of diced cooked ham or bacon and 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks on top of the cheese. Finish with a final layer of cheese and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of dried oregano or mixed herbs for extra flavor.
- Bake the Pizza: Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted. Keep an eye on the pizza to ensure it doesn’t overcook.
- Serve: Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two. Slice and serve warm, enjoying the perfect sweet and salty balance of flavors!
