Step 1: Prepare the Filling
- In a medium bowl, mash the hard-boiled eggs using a fork or potato masher until finely crumbled.
- Add the drained tuna and continue mashing until evenly combined with the eggs.
- Stir in the mayonnaise and chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2: Flatten the Bread
- Place each slice of white bread on a clean work surface and roll out gently with a rolling pin to flatten and compress.
Step 3: Assemble the Logs
- Spread a generous spoonful of the egg and tuna mixture over each flattened slice of bread, covering it evenly.
- Roll each slice up tightly into a log. Wrap each log individually in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate the logs for at least 2 hours to chill and firm up.
