- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare the Pan:
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or loaf pan.
2. Make the Cake Batter:
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.
