Praline Buttermilk Pound Cake

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare the Pan:

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or loaf pan.

2. Make the Cake Batter:

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Alternately add dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.
