Pecan Praline Pie Bark (Irresistible Holiday Treat)

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet completely with foil, making sure the foil goes up the sides. Lightly mist the foil with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Arrange the Crackers: Lay the graham crackers in a single layer across the entire baking sheet. Break crackers as needed to fully cover the surface with minimal gaps. This creates a sturdy base for the praline topping.
  3. Make the Praline Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter and brown sugar. Stir constantly as the mixture melts and comes to a rolling boil.
  4. Boil: Once boiling, continue to cook for exactly 2 minutes, stirring constantly. This step is essential to achieve the proper caramelized texture.
  5. Finish the Topping: Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans. The mixture will be thick, glossy, and very hot.

Baking, Cooling & Serving

  1. Top the Crackers: Carefully pour the hot praline mixture over the graham crackers. Working quickly, use a spoon or offset spatula to spread it evenly, making sure all crackers are well coated.
  2. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly and slightly darkened.
  3. Cool Completely: Remove from the oven and let the bark cool completely at room temperature. As it cools, the topping will harden into a crisp, candy-like layer.
  4. Break into Pieces: Once fully cooled, lift the bark from the pan using the foil and break it into irregular pieces.
