Unroll the puff pastry directly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. If the pastry is very soft, place it in the fridge for 10 minutes before slicing to make it easier to handle.

Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to divide the dough lengthwise into wide strips (about 5ā6 cm each). These will be folded and shaped into the crown.

- Place a few chunks of soft cheese in the center of each strip.
- Add a generous sprinkle of grated cheese.
- Top with chopped parsley and basil, then season with black pepper to taste.

- Carefully fold each strip over the filling, pinching or pressing lightly to seal.
- Arrange the filled strips into a circular wreath on the baking tray, sealing the ends where they meet to form a complete ring.
