Filet Mignon with Grilled Shrimp & Lobster Sauce

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Filet Mignon

  1. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature.
  2. Pat dry and season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.

2️⃣ Sear the Filet

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a heavy skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
  3. Transfer the steaks to a plate, tent with foil, and let rest while you prepare the shrimp and sauce.

3️⃣ Grill the Shrimp

  1. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Add shrimp in a single layer and grill for 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and lightly charred.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.

4️⃣ Warm the Lobster Sauce
