Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish (Bakery-Style & Crowd-Pleasing)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press them evenly into the bottom of the pan, pinching all seams together to form a solid crust.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base, smoothing it into the corners.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer. Gently pinch seams together.
  6. Lightly brush the top layer with egg white to help it bake up golden and glossy.
  7. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is puffed and deep golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow the danish to cool for about 20 minutes before adding the glaze.

Glaze, Tips & Variations

To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and pourable. Drizzle evenly over the slightly cooled danish, allowing it to settle into the cracks and edges.
