Prepare the pan and sugar mixture
Lightly grease a baking pan or oven-safe skillet, making sure to coat the bottom and sides to prevent sticking. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly combined. This spiced sugar mixture will coat the biscuits and create a caramelized layer as they bake.
Coat the biscuits
Separate the biscuits from the can. Dip each biscuit into the melted butter, making sure all sides are well coated. Immediately roll or press the buttered biscuit into the sugar mixture, covering it completely. Arrange the coated biscuits snugly in the prepared pan. The close placement helps them bake into a pull-apart style dessert.
