Step 1 – Prep the Slow Cooker
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
Step 2 – Add the Pie Crust
- Place the uncooked pie crust into the bottom of the slow cooker and gently press it up the sides about 1/2 inch. Smooth out any air bubbles or folds.
Step 3 – Mix the Filling
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, dark corn syrup, melted margarine, vanilla extract, and broken pecans until well combined.
- Pour the filling mixture over the prepared pie crust in the slow cooker.
Step 4 – Cook
- Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, or until the filling is set in the center and the edges are lightly browned.
- Turn off the slow cooker and allow the pie to cool slightly before removing.
