Creamy Shrimp Ravioli Skillet

How to Make It

1. Boil the ravioli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Stir gently to prevent sticking and cook just until tender. Drain well and set aside. Properly cooked ravioli should be soft but still hold its shape when tossed with sauce.

2. Sear the shrimp

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp lightly with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, just until pink, opaque, and lightly golden at the edges. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside to avoid overcooking.

3. Build the cream sauce

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant but not browned. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

4. Add cheese and seasoning

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly and becomes smooth and glossy.

5. Combine and coat
