Antipasto Wreath with Hot Honey & Holiday Crunch

Assembly Instructions

  1. Prepare the serving base: Choose a large round platter, board, or flat serving dish with enough surface area to form a wreath. If helpful, place a small bowl or ramekin upside-down in the center as a guide to keep the wreath opening even while assembling.
  2. Arrange the cheese: Scatter the cubed aged cheese in a loose ring around the outer edge of the platter, forming the backbone of the wreath. Keep the cubes slightly spaced so the shape feels abundant but not crowded.
  3. Add the cured meats: Nestle the salami or soppressata rosettes between the cheese cubes, letting their folds create height and softness. Drape pieces of prosciutto or coppa in loose ribbons, tucking the ends gently between cheese and meat to maintain structure without compressing the platter.
  4. Layer in the vegetables: Fill gaps with quartered artichoke hearts and mixed olives, alternating colors to keep the wreath visually balanced. Position them closer to the inner ring so their glossy surfaces catch the light and draw the eye inward.
  5. Add the festive crunch: Sprinkle fresh cranberries or pomegranate seeds evenly throughout the wreath. These provide bright color contrast and a juicy, tart snap that cuts through the richness of the meats and cheese.
