Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Salmon:
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over the top. Let them marinate for 15–30 minutes in the refrigerator. Reserve the other half of the marinade for later.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Salmon:
Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the basket. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and caramelized on the surface.
  5. Make the Sauce:
While the salmon is cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of water and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens and turns glossy (about 2–3 minutes).
  6. Serve:
Plate the salmon fillets and drizzle with the thickened honey garlic sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions, if desired.
