🍫 Chocolate Swiss Roll
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
Filling:
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped with 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 10×15-inch tray with parchment.
- Beat eggs and sugar for 5–7 minutes until pale and thick.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the egg mixture.
- Add oil and vanilla; fold gently until smooth.
- Spread batter evenly in tray and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Roll the warm cake in parchment and cool completely.
- Unroll, spread whipped cream, roll again, chill 1 hour.
- Slice and serve chilled.
