🍫 Chocolate Swiss Roll

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

Filling:

  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped with 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 10×15-inch tray with parchment.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar for 5–7 minutes until pale and thick.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the egg mixture.
  4. Add oil and vanilla; fold gently until smooth.
  5. Spread batter evenly in tray and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Roll the warm cake in parchment and cool completely.
  7. Unroll, spread whipped cream, roll again, chill 1 hour.
  8. Slice and serve chilled.
