Toasted Garlic Spaghetti Sub Sandwiches

Instructions

  1. Make the Spaghetti:
Cook your spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente. While the noodles cook, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain any excess grease. Stir in the Prego spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes to meld the flavors. Combine the sauce with the cooked noodles and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sub Buns:
Preheat your oven to 450°F. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a V-shaped trench or shallow hollow down the center of each sub bun without cutting all the way through—just enough to hold the filling. Lightly spray the insides and edges of the buns with spray butter for a rich, golden finish. Generously sprinkle Lawry’s Garlic Seasoning over the buttered surfaces for maximum flavor.
  3. Fill the Buns:
Spoon a generous amount of prepared spaghetti into each garlic-seasoned sub bun. Pack the filling in gently, ensuring each bun is loaded with noodles and beefy sauce. Sprinkle a liberal handful of shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of each filled bun, covering the spaghetti completely for that perfect melted cheese finish.
