Serving & Storage Tips
These soft, fluffy buns are perfect for serving with soups, stews, or as a base for sandwiches. They also make great breakfast buns with a little jam or honey!
Storage:
- Store any leftover buns in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. They are best enjoyed fresh but will remain soft and delicious for a few days.
- If you have leftovers and want to keep them for longer, you can freeze the buns. Wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and foil and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw them at room temperature or heat them in the oven to bring them back to life.
Tips:
- If you like your buns a little sweeter, you can increase the sugar to 1/3 cup or add a bit of honey to the dough.
- For extra flavor, try adding a tablespoon of garlic powder or onion powder to the dough for savory buns.
- Brush the buns with an egg wash before baking for a shinier, more golden finish.
