🧾 Ingredients

For the Cookie Base:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of ½ orange (optional)
  • 2¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Kunafa Crunch:

  • 1 cup (50g) shredded phyllo dough (kataifi), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

For Filling & Topping:

  • ½ cup (60g) finely chopped pistachios (divided)
  • ½ cup (85g) white chocolate chips or sweetened cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp orange blossom water
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1–2 tsp milk or orange juice (for glaze)
