Baking & Serving
- When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the French toast covered for the first 30 minutes to keep it soft and custardy.
- Uncover and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup.
