3. Suspicious absence
She had searched his office the day before. There were no documents or money in his bag – only this mysterious object. The lack of documents worried her the most.
4. The Incomprehensible Object
The object was about a foot high, smooth and covered in intricate patterns. At the top were thin, articulated projections that resembled antennae. However, no one could determine what it was used for or what its purpose was.
5. The Strange Contact
When I – the son – picked up the object, I immediately felt something was different. Memories welled up within me, as confusing as they were foreign.
