Moist Apple Sheet Cake

1. Preheat & Prepare

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Line a baking sheet or rectangular cake pan with parchment paper.

2. Slice the Apples

  1. Wash the apples and slice them thinly (peeling is optional based on preference). Set aside.

3. Make the Batter

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until pale and slightly fluffy.
  2. Mix in the melted butter and vanilla extract (if using).
  3. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, alternating with milk, mixing just until smooth. Avoid overmixing.

4. Assemble and Bake

  1. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  2. Arrange the apple slices neatly on top of the batter, slightly overlapping for full coverage.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
