1. Cook the Sausages
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sausages and cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
2. Sauté the Peppers and Onions
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
- Add garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
3. Deglaze the Pan (Optional)
- Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up the browned bits from the pan. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
