« If you’ll allow me, I’ll fix it »: no one could repair the billionaire’s jet engine until a homeless girl succeeded.

« I wouldn’t say I’m ‘directing’ it, » she murmured. « I’m just trying to listen to what the machines need to say. »

Jerry smiled.

— And the people too, I think. You listen to them better than many managers.

In the following weeks, their paths crossed constantly: dinners at Andrew’s villa, late nights spent balancing the books, quiet discussions on the balcony overlooking the lights of Lagos.

Jerry’s calm presence soothed Olivia’s fears. And Olivia’s fire inspired Jerry.

Soon, the whispers began. The staff noticed how Jerry’s gaze lingered on Olivia, and how Olivia’s smile widened when he entered a room.

One evening, after a long day of contracts, Jerry invited Olivia onto the balcony. The city sparkled below, the headlights forming rivers of light in the streets.

He turned towards her, his heart beating fast.

— Olivia, you came into our lives like a storm. You fixed what others couldn’t. Not just engines, but hope. I don’t want to imagine my life without you.

He knelt down and took out a small case. Inside was a ring adorned with a diamond that caught the city light.

— Will you marry me?

Olivia’s tears flowed freely.

For years she had been invisible, broken, homeless. Now, she was there, chosen and loved.

Her voice trembled when she replied:

– Yes.

Months later, Lagos witnessed a wedding like few others. The cathedral was overflowing with flowers and chandeliers. All of Nigeria’s elite filled the pews. Reporters crowded the steps.

Andrew himself accompanied Olivia to the altar, his hand clasped in hers, his eyes shining with tears.

« You were a ragged girl who repaired my jet, » he whispered to her. « Now you are my daughter. »

When Olivia joined Jerry, the crowd rose to their feet. She recited her vows in a strong voice, filled with both strength and humility.

“I was lost in my parents’ tragedy. I slept on the streets, without hope. But one day, I dared to say, ‘If you’ll allow me, I’ll fix it.’ That moment changed my life. Today, I’m not only the head of the largest jet maintenance facility in Africa, but I’m also marrying the son of the man who gave me a second chance. It’s proof that no night is dark enough to prevent the light from finding us again.”

The cathedral erupted in applause. Andrew wept openly, raising his hands to the sky in gratitude.

A year later, Olivia held her newborn in her arms. Jerry stood beside her, beaming. They named the little boy Jonathan, in honor of Andrew’s late father.

As he embraced his grandson, Andrew let the tears flow freely. He had built empires, crossed continents, and led industries, but nothing compared to this moment: a restored family, a secure legacy.

Looking at Olivia, he whispered:

— You are the answer I never imagined. My life is complete.

And Olivia, once a ragged street girl, smiled through her own tears. She had found her place, her mission, her love.
