- Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes if using. Set aside so the flavors can begin to meld. - Cook the Sausage:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 4–5 minutes, flipping occasionally, until browned on both sides and lightly crisp. Remove sausage from the skillet and set aside. - Sauté the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn pink, opaque, and are just cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the sausage. - Cook the Broccoli:
Add broccoli florets to the hot skillet. Sauté for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bright green and tender-crisp. If needed, add a splash of water and cover the pan briefly to steam and soften the broccoli.
