Homemade Samosa Recipe

Serving & Storage Tips

These homemade samosas are perfect for parties, snacks, or as part of a meal. The crispy exterior and flavorful filling make them an irresistible treat!

Storage:

  • Store any leftover samosas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to regain their crispiness.
  • You can also freeze the samosas before frying. To freeze, place them in a single layer on a baking sheet, freeze until firm, and then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. When ready to cook, fry them directly from frozen for about 5-7 minutes.

Tips:

  • If you’re making a potato filling, try adding some chopped onions, peas, and spices like cumin and coriander for extra flavor.
  • For a healthier version, bake the samosas instead of frying them. Brush them with a little oil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Feel free to experiment with the filling—spiced minced chicken, lamb, or even a mixture of vegetables work well too!
