a damp cloth for rinsing.

Soak the cloth with white vinegar.
Gently rub the sole with even strokes.
Repeat if necessary on stubborn stains.
Wipe with a damp cloth to rinse, then dry thoroughly.
Tip: If the smell bothers you, ventilate the room for a few minutes; it will dissipate quickly.
