👩🍳 Directions
1️⃣ Prep the Veggies
- Slice mushrooms and carrots into even pieces.
- Cut broccoli into small, bite-sized florets.
2️⃣ Cook the Vegetables
- Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and tender.
- Add the broccoli and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
- Push the veggies to one side of the pan. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), vinegar or lemon juice, black pepper, and optional chili flakes.
- Toss all the vegetables in the sauce until everything is evenly coated and glossy.
4️⃣ Finish & Serve
- Continue cooking for another 1–2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and cling to the veggies.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if using.
- Serve hot on its own, or spoon over a bed of rice or noodles for a complete meal.
