- Soften Ice Cream: Take both ice creams out of the freezer and let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to soften slightly for easy spreading.
- Layer in Pan: Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, allowing extra to hang over the sides for easy removal.
- First Layer: Spread vanilla ice cream into the base of the pan and smooth it out evenly with a spatula.
- Second Layer: Add the chocolate ice cream on top and smooth the surface.
- Freeze: Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm (overnight is best).
- Unmold and Decorate: Remove from pan using the overhanging plastic wrap. Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top and garnish with chocolate shavings.
- Serve: Slice and serve frozen. Enjoy this creamy, chocolatey treat straight from the freezer!
