Flourless Orange Pistachio Syrup Cake

  1. Cool and syrup (optional): Let the cake cool in the tin for 10–15 minutes before removing the sides. If desired, brush the top with a warm orange syrup (made by simmering equal parts orange juice and sugar until slightly thickened) for extra moisture and shine.
  2. Finish with garnish: Sprinkle the top with the reserved chopped pistachios or extra orange zest for a touch of color and texture. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Serving & Storage

This cake is delicious on its own or paired with a dollop of Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or crème fraîche. The citrus and nutty notes also pair well with a drizzle of honey or a dusting of powdered sugar just before serving.

It keeps beautifully — store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness. The flavor deepens over time, making it an ideal make-ahead dessert for entertaining or gifting.
