- Mix Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, beaten egg, lemon juice, and parsley (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined. - Shape Patties:
Using your hands or a scoop, form the mixture into 6â8 even-sized patties, depending on your desired size. Flatten slightly for even cooking. - Cook Patties:
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the salmon patties in batches and cook for 3â4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through. Do not overcrowd the pan. - Drain & Serve:
Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve warm with salad, dipping sauce, or your favorite side. Enjoy cold as a snack the next day!
