Creamy White Cheese Cake

Instructions

  1. Mix the Sugar and Butter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and butter. Use a hand mixer or whisk to beat them together until the mixture becomes light and creamy. This step is essential to create a smooth base for your cheesecake.
  2. Add the Remaining Ingredients: Once the butter and sugar are well combined, add the vanilla sugar, eggs, ricotta, lemon zest, and cornstarch to the bowl. Mix everything together until smooth and fully incorporated. The ricotta cheese adds a rich and creamy texture, while the lemon zest provides a fresh burst of flavor.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake: Pour the prepared mixture into a baking mold, ensuring it’s evenly spread out. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F), and bake the cheesecake for 60-70 minutes, or until it is firm and lightly golden on top. To check if the cheesecake is done, gently shake the mold—if the center is set and doesn’t wobble, it’s ready.
  4. Prepare the Cream: While the cheesecake is baking, whip the cream with the powdered sugar using a hand mixer or whisk until it forms soft peaks. The whipped cream will be used to cover and decorate the cheesecake, adding an extra layer of smoothness.
  5. Decorate the Cheesecake: Once the cheesecake has baked and cooled to room temperature, spread the whipped cream over the top. You can either cover the entire surface or leave it lightly swirled for a decorative effect. Optionally, you can also add fruit or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra flair.

Once the cheesecake is fully decorated, refrigerate it for a few hours to allow the flavors to set and develop. Serve chilled, and enjoy this creamy, delightful treat with friends and family!
