1. Prepare the Filling
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Mix until smooth and well blended. Chill for 15–20 minutes for easier spreading.
2. Stuff the Doritos
- Pair up similar-sized Doritos. Take one chip and spread a small amount of the filling (about 1 teaspoon) onto the flat side.
- Place the second chip on top and gently press to sandwich and seal the filling inside. Repeat until all filling is used.
3. Coat for Crunch
- Dip each stuffed Dorito sandwich first in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally coat it fully in panko breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well.
- Place coated Doritos on a plate or tray while you heat the oil.
4. Fry to Golden Perfection
- Heat 1–2 inches of oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Working in small batches, carefully lower the coated Doritos into the hot oil. Fry for 30–45 seconds per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
5. Serve & Enjoy
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce—ranch, salsa, or spicy mayo all work beautifully.
- Optional: Garnish with chopped chives or jalapeños for an extra kick.
