- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by spraying with nonstick spray, or line with foil and spray for easy removal and clean slicing.
- Make the Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until evenly combined. Set aside.
- Cream Butter & Sugar: In a medium-sized bowl, beat the white sugar and softened butter together using an electric mixer until smooth, pale, and creamy.
- Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed butter mixture, stirring just until blended.
- Add Milk: Mix in the milk until the batter is smooth and thick, with no dry pockets remaining.
