Classic Almond Crumble Cookies

  1. Cool and dust: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once fully cooled, dust generously with powdered sugar using a fine-mesh sieve for an elegant finish.

Serving & Storage

These almond crumble cookies are delightful served with tea, coffee, or a glass of cold milk. Their subtle sweetness and nutty crunch make them ideal for afternoon treats or as part of a festive cookie platter.

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. To maintain their crumble and prevent drying, place a piece of parchment between layers. They can also be frozen (without the powdered sugar) for up to 1 month; thaw at room temperature, then dust with sugar before serving.

If making ahead, you can prepare the dough and keep it chilled for up to 48 hours. Allow the dough to sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before shaping and baking.
