- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes (or preheat oven to 200°C / 390°F).
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each into a circle ~15 cm (6 inches) wide.
- Place filling in the center of each round, leaving a 2 cm (¾-inch) border.
- Fold in half to create a half-moon shape. Seal edges by pressing with fingers, then crimp with a fork.
- Brush the tops with egg yolk for a golden finish.
4️⃣ Cooking
- Air fryer: Place calzones in the basket without touching. Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Oven: Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
