Insert the doll upright into the center, ensuring it is stable. For hygiene, wrap the lower portion of the doll securely in plastic wrap before placing it into the base.
Build the Skirt
Begin at the bottom of the base. Arrange slices of salami in a circular pattern, slightly overlapping each slice like petals. Keep the edges loose and flowing to mimic fabric. Secure occasionally with toothpicks if needed, keeping them hidden beneath layers.
Once the first layer is complete, add a layer of cheese slices on top, overlapping in the same circular fashion. Alternate between salami and cheese, working upward toward the doll’s waist. As you go higher, angle the slices slightly upward to create a natural draped effect.
Form the Bodice
Use thin slices of salami or cheese to wrap around the doll’s torso, creating a fitted “top.” Smooth the slices gently so they lay flat. Secure discreetly from the back using toothpicks or food-safe tape, ensuring the front remains clean and seamless.
