Caramel Brownie Cheesecake Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie base: Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions and spread it evenly into the pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Make the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream and vanilla. Pour over the partially baked brownie crust.
  4. Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the center is just set. Cool in the oven, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Finish: Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with chopped pecans before serving.

Notes

  • Use a water bath to prevent cracks.
  • For extra decadence, swirl extra caramel into the cheesecake batter before baking.
