Aurora Nightfall Cocoa (Magical Teal Hot Chocolate)

☕ Instructions

  1. Warm the milk:
    Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and heat over low–medium heat. Stir occasionally and avoid boiling to keep the texture creamy.
  2. Whisk in cocoa & sugar:
    Add the cocoa powder and sugar. Whisk until fully dissolved and smooth. Adjust sugar to taste depending on how dark your chocolate is.
  3. Melt the chocolate:
    Stir in the chopped dark chocolate and continue stirring until fully melted and the cocoa is glossy and rich.
  4. Flavor it:
    Add the vanilla extract and give the cocoa a final stir.
  5. Pour and shimmer:
    Pour the cocoa into transparent glass mugs or heat-safe cups to show off the shimmer. Sprinkle a small pinch of edible teal shimmer on top.
  6. Swirl for effect:
    Use the tip of a spoon or skewer to gently swirl the shimmer on the surface — it will drift and swirl like aurora waves.
  7. Top it off (optional):
    Add a light dollop of whipped cream for a glowing cloud effect and extra indulgence.
  8. Serve warm:
    Enjoy immediately while hot and magical.
