- 4 cups dandelion flowers (just the yellow petals)
- 4 cups water
- 2½ cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed preferred)

1. Harvest & Prepare Petals
- Gather dandelion flowers from a clean, pesticide-free area. You’ll need about 4 cups of blossoms.
- Using your fingers or scissors, remove just the yellow petals, discarding the green sepals and stems (they can add bitterness).
- Rinse the petals gently under cool water to remove any dirt or insects. Drain well.
